Unraid base with 2 Windows Gaming VMs, MacOS and Linux Development VMs with the GPUs passed through. Unraid allows the user to turn on/off these systems at will and take backups of them, which is why it’ll be used instead of a normal desktop system like Windows. This provides a desktop workstation for 2 people while the Linux host runs native docker containers for server software like Plex.
Yes, it is possible to run 2 gaming rigs while serving Plex media! And it works great!
Unraid houses docker containers for Nextcloud, Plex, Radarr, Sonarr, Jackett, Overseerr, Deluge, Gitlab, Vaultwarden, AdGuard Home and many others (and another couple VMs, like Kali Linux, Metasploitable, and Manjaro).
