In order to advertise the chess abilities in Mysuru, Rotary Midtown Academy, Hootagalli, has organised ‘CHECKMATE,’ the annual inter-school competitors for the scholars of Mysuru, on Sept. 13 on the college campus.
(*13*) VPS, National Chess Player, would be the chief visitor. Rtn. Naveenchandra, President, Rotary Mysore Midtown, would be the visitor of honour. Y.G. Vijeyendra, Chess Master, will supervise the entire occasion.
Top three winners will get a money prize of Rs. 1,500, Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 750 respectively together with trophy and certificates. Ten comfort prize can even be given.
