Singularity 6’s cozy MMO, Palia, is an ongoing online game that’s currently enjoying success in its Open Beta period ahead of its full release. With Palia now available in Open Beta for PC, with a Nintendo Switch version heading this Holiday Season, players have wondered whether a server outage or maintenance has begun. With the latest patch update, v0.168, released on 12th September 2023, servers were taken down for two hours for the update to be deployed onto the servers.
As such, we can report that servers are active, and players can rejoin the servers to continue completing quests or begin farming runs. However, it’s noted that there are a few known bugs or glitches that are appearing on-screen, including the “Items Disabled” error code, and players should note that the developer has created this error code “for possible situations where there might be an issue with a clothing item that needs to be disabled.”
How To Search Online Services & Network Status For Palia?
Unfortunately, Singularity 6 doesn’t yet have a dedicated server status portal for players to check the current server status. This makes it difficult for players to determine whether there’s a server outage or the servers have been taken down for maintenance, but there are additional online services, including Downdetector.
But if you prefer to trust official and approved sources, players can join the game’s official Discord server, which is run by the development team. Players will have immediate access to the dev team and promptly report any technical issues and bugs discovered in-game, which includes the Flowstone near the exit bug for the Plumehound Pilgrimage quest.
Additionally, the developer will post updates to their official Twitter/X account, @playpalia, where they’ll also post the latest hotfix news and patch notes; and when logging into the game, a banner will appear on the login screen informing players on the maintenance period. Lastly, you should be able to find more information through Palia’s support pages, where they can find a host of articles, including Known Issues, Troubleshooting guides, and submitting bugs to report any issues detected.
