Dedicated server help. :: V Rising General Discussions

Want to run a server for me and my friends, and it should be working. Setup the server, and the server gets assigned a steamid according to the log, but, nobody can see it.

Is there a decent check list to go through for this?

Have had issues before, have run Ark Servers, that refused to show up, until, well, they did, can’t remember what I changed.

The host is not running steam, the server seems to start ok, and gets assigned a steam id, but, you cannot find it anywhere. On my gaming computer, I start steam, look for the server at my ip, nothing found. I also try 127.0.0.1, no luck.

I also try the different ports 27015,27016,9876,9775, no luck. (or 27017,9877).

The host is connected to one router, the gaming machine is connected to a different router, so shouldn’t be issues with ports overlapping.

Anyone have any idea how to start troubleshooting?
