This snazzy indie looks like a Teardown FPS, and its free open beta is live now

Sector’s Edge, a slick free-to-play indie FPS with totally destructible environments, has formally entered its open beta part.

The studio behind Sector’s Edge is made up of simply two brothers decided to ship “a first individual shooter that will get out of the best way and permits you to benefit from the playstyles you like.” And though Vercidium is an undeniably small operation, its debut title already has 25 devoted server areas, from the US West Coast all the best way to Sydney, Australia. This helps to make sure “a stutter-free engine, dependable networking,” and “finely tuned hitreg for gamers with as much as 400ms latency.”
