FHCP appoints two new VPs in policy and government relations

Roberta Kramchynsky, Amélie Gadient

Roberta Kramchynsky has joined FHCP as vice president of health policy and regulatory affairs. Her prior role was senior manager, government affairs and policy at Johnson & Johnson. Her contributions extended to supporting the Janssen pharmaceutical company on pivotal regulatory policy files, rare diseases, and the advancement of life sciences initiatives, including cross-sector political compliance work. Kramchynsky co-chaired the Internal Regulatory Affairs Council at Johnson & Johnson, playing a key role in shaping global regulatory policy activity. Her focus extended beyond the corporate realm to include local initiatives focused on indigenous health, mental health, and underserved communities. Before that, Kramchynsky spent over 10 years as a government relations and public affairs consultant.

Amélie Gadient has been appointed the new director of government relations and manufacturing policy at FHCP. Gadient has close to a decade of experience holding senior public affairs and policy roles with Nutrition International, Hill & Knowlton Strategies (H&K), the Business Council of Canada and the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations. During her more than 5 years at H&K, she worked for FHCP manufacturing members, supported FHCP on self-care government engagement and excelled at organizing lobby days for clients.
