The company elevated three existing team members, Katie Santana, Abby Mutschler and Stephanie Mettler, to leadership roles.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. (April 8, 2024)—Emmy® award-winning ASR Media announced the promotions of Katie Santana to president, Abby Mutschler to vice president of post-production, and Stephanie Mettler to vice president of production. The promotions support ASR Media’s growth strategy for the next decade.

Santana has been appointed as the new President of ASR Media. Her role is crucial as she will be responsible for representing the company’s vision, values, and accomplishments to both internal and external stakeholders. With her strategic guidance and leadership, she will steer ASR Media towards its goals and objectives. She will identify opportunities for growth and expansion, establish new business relationships, and manage contract negotiations to ensure the company’s continued success. Moreover, she will manage recruitment, training, and personnel, creating a positive and supportive work environment that encourages productivity and innovation.

A two-time Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy® award winner and 16-time nominee, Santana has been part of the ASR Media team since 2012. She serves on the board of the Greater Valley YMCA. Additionally, she volunteers for the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley and Cancer Support Community, and is a Women United of United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley member. In 2023, Santana was named to Lehigh Valley Business’s Forty Under 40 List. She has also been honored as one of the Distinguished Honorees for the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She received the Spirit of Volunteerism award from the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley and was named one of the Finest Under Forty by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Mutschler has transitioned from her position as senior editor to become the new vice president of post-production at ASR Media. In this role, she will work closely with senior management to create strategic plans for the post-production department that align with the overall goals of ASR Media. Mutschler will lead a team of talented post-production professionals, offering guidance,

support, and mentorship as needed. She is responsible for developing and implementing efficient post-production workflows, ensuring optimal productivity, and timely project delivery. Mutschler is committed to maintaining exceptional production standards and will oversee rigorous quality control processes. She will also conduct comprehensive performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback, coaching, and professional growth opportunities for her team members.

Mutschler began her career at ASR Media as an editor eight years ago. In 2022, she was promoted to the position of senior editor. Mutschler is a four-time winner of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy® award and has been nominated for this award 15 times. She is certified in Project Management and is an active supporter of the Charleston Animal Society.

Mettler has been appointed as the new vice president of production at ASR Media. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production department. Her primary goal will be to ensure that all projects are executed seamlessly, adhering to strict timelines and deadlines. Mettler will work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and expectations, providing regular updates on project advancements and addressing any concerns that may arise during production. She will also work collaboratively with departmental heads and project managers to create detailed production plans and schedules, ensuring that milestones are achieved on time and resources are allocated efficiently. Additionally, Mettler is committed to the professional growth and development of her team members. She will conduct comprehensive performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback, coaching, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Mettler is a two-time Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy® award winner and eight-time nominee. She is also on the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Council board.
