Bengaluru: Almost a month after his appointment as Karnataka BJP president, BY Vijayendra on Saturday reconstituted the party unit with 10 vice-presidents and four general secretaries.
Former ministers Murugesh Nirani, Byrathi Basavaraj, Raju Gouda Nayak, N Mahesh and Haratalu Halappa are among the 10 vice-presidents. Former minister V Sunil Kumar, former MLAs P Rajeev, Nandeesh Reddy and J Pritham Gowda have been made general secretaries.
Doddaballapur BJP MLA Dhiraj Muniraju and party functionary KC Manjula have been appointed state BJP youth wing and state BJP women wing presidents, respectively.
This apart, Vijayendra appointed 10 secretaries, including MLAs Shylendra Beldale and Basavaraj Mattimud. tnn
