DRA expands executive committee with four new VPs

ASX- and JSE-listed engineering and operations management group DRA Global has announced new appointments to its executive committee as the company works to drive its ‘Roadmap to 2025’ strategy.

The expanded committee, working alongside existing members, now includes JC Heslinga as executive VP for global project excellence, Rashid Kader as executive VP for global operations and management capability, Pierre Julien as executive VP for global origination and Darren Naylor as executive VP for the Asia Pacific region.

Kader also serves as MD of Minopex, while Julien serves as MD of DRA’s North American operations.

The new executive committee will work on expanding the company’s ability to offer its full range of existing capabilities globally and creating opportunities for greater collaboration and alignment with clients.

The new appointments will be effective from January 1.

DRA CEO and MD James Smith says he looks forward to working with the expanded and more operationally focused executive team to support the group in driving and expanding DRA’s existing capabilities and moving it forward into the next phase of growth.

DRA has offices across Africa and the Middle East, North and South America, and the Asia-Pacific region. Its teams have deep expertise in the mining, minerals and metals processing industries, as well as related non-process infrastructure, such as water and energy sustainability solutions.

The company delivers advisory, engineering and project delivery services throughout the capital project lifecycle, from concept through to operational readiness and commissioning, as well as ongoing operations, maintenance and engineering services.
