Network Solutions services include domain name registration, web hosting plans, website builder plans, business email, and website security. While it offers a number of services, it does not offer any standout features, nor do any of its services stand out in terms of quality, price or service.

Domain Registration

You can simply search for your desired domain name and see a list of available domain extensions. However, unlike most registrars, Network Solutions does not display pricing until you begin the checkout process.

Remember, Network Solutions will automatically add any domain you searched for into your cart. You also might notice that it adds other domain extensions to your cart as well, so be careful during checkout that you only purchase the domains you actually want to buy. For example, I searched for “oakrivergrille.com” and it added both “oakrivergrille.com” and oakrivergrille.online” to my cart.

It does not include a free domain name, an SSL certificate or a money-back guarantee—all of which are standard inclusions in the industry.

Network Solutions offers website security plans starting at INR 665.10 ($7.99) per month. This includes daily malware scans (up to 500 pages), automatic malware removal in the event that malware is detected, and daily vulnerability scans. The SSL certificates start at INR 6400.48 ($76.89) per year with a two-year contract. For insight, most web hosting plans include a free SSL certificate, and the average price to buy a third-party SSL certificate is around INR 4162.10 ($50) to INR 4994.52 ($60) per year.

Business Email

Network Solutions’ business email hosting enables users to create a custom business email address that uses a domain name they own (e.g., [email protected]). Plans start at INR 145.67 ($1.75) per month per inbox for 25GB of storage. For more storage, users can upgrade to its Professional Email Plus plan for INR 415.38 ($4.99) per month, which includes 80GB of storage. Though this is affordable, it’s worth keeping in mind that many of the best web hosting services include business email for free, so it may be worth choosing a hosting service with free email instead.
