VSP issues alert for missing 11-year-old Bedford Co. girl

UPDATE 10:21 P.M. BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Bedford County Sheriff’s Office reports that Eva Marie Campuria has been found safely. She was located in Jacksonville, Florida with two adults, who the Sheriff’s Office say are being kept for questioning.


UPDATE 7:19 P.M. BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Virginia State Police say the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office believe Eva Marie Capuria is traveling south toward Tampa, Fla. in a white sedan with Florida plates. She is believed to be with an unknown man and unknown woman.


BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Virginia State Police (VSP) have issued a missing person alert for an 11-year-old girl who is believed to be in “extreme danger.”

VPS says, 11-year-old Eva Marie Capuria was last seen around 4:10 p.m. on June 10 on Sycamore Creek Drive in the Goode area.

Eva is described as around five-foot-two and weighs 125 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a long sleeve shirt with black shorts and black combat boots.

Anyone who sees Eva is asked to call the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office at 540-586-7827.
