Gujarat high court launches mail service to keep all police stations updated of cases | Ahmedabad News

AHMEDABAD: The Gujarat high court has launched a function in its e-mail my case standing (EMSC) service by which all the police stations of Gujarat will get updates concerning the standing of cases, that are associated to the FIRs registered with them.
The HC’s IT Committee has prolonged its mailing service, which was meant for the litigants, to the police stations. “Automatic emails will probably be transmitted to all 763 police stations of Gujarat thereby notifying itemizing, adjournment and disposal of prison cases relating to FIRs of the respective police stations,” an announcement issued by the HC reads.
Besides the case standing, the police stations may even get orders and judgements handed in such cases as PDF attachment within the EMCS e-mail updates.
With this new initiative, the HC goals to facilitate simpler and fast entry of standing and updates of cases pending within the high court involving FIRs of the involved police stations. The HC administration believes that this may even assist in curbing any delays in compliance/motion required to be taken by the respective police stations.
The HC has additionally requested the state house division and the State Crime Record Bureau (SCRB) to challenge directions to all police stations to commonly test and comply with up the e-mail updates to be transmitted from HC’s EMCS e-mail server.
