Prince Faisal chairs JOC board meeting | Sport

Ammon News – HRH Prince Faisal bin Al-Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC), chaired Thursday the JOC board meeting, which was held in Al-Salam Hall in Al Hussein Youth City.

The meeting was attended by HRH Princess Alia Bint Al Hussein, President of the Royal Jordanian Equestrian Federation, Minister of Youth Mohammad Al Nabulsi, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Ahmed Al Hanandeh, JOC VPs, Sari Hamdan and Khaled Atiyat, JOC Secretary General Naser Majali and the board members.

Prince Faisal lauded “our varied nationwide groups sport achievements in 2022, and efforts of sports activities federations in serving Jordanian sports activities.”

The meeting lined achievements of “our sports activities federations by our varied nationwide groups on this 12 months, by which Jordan participated within the Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya, Turkey, and received 12 medals, together with two gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals.”

The board meeting additionally permitted to start out implementing the “Developing the Effectiveness of Sports Organization” challenge, which was launched with the goal of institutionalizing and growing the efficiency of sports activities federations to make sure its sustainability and improve the boldness of its stakeholders and beneficiaries.
