Community says thanks on grocery store’s anniversary

A 12 months after individuals lined as much as lastly purchase groceries in Porcupine once more, the group continues to point out its gratitude for the shop.

Today, Melissa Narduzzi introduced a card of thanks to Food Basics supervisor Kelly Summers and assistant supervisor Stacey Theriault.

The paintings for the cardboard was completed by college students within the after-school program at École catholique St. Jude and signed by members of the group.

Narduzzi additionally mentioned a couple of phrases on behalf of the South Porcupine Food Bank, and Jackie Miller was on hand to speak in regards to the South Porcupine Winter Carnival.
