IONOS and Fasthosts to migrate Gloucester data center to £21m Worcester facility

European web hosting (opens in new tab) agency IONOS (opens in new tab) and its UK subsidiary Fasthosts (opens in new tab) have opened a brand new data center located at Worcester Six Business Park, and might be migrating all its data from the present Gloucester colocation (opens in new tab) it beforehand used.

Costing roughly £21 million, the migration is about to take 18 months to full and willl present 1.5 million sq ft of lodging as soon as the Worcester Business Park is absolutely developed.

IONOS and Fasthosts even have an additional £5 million growth mission for the brand new data center within the pipeline and advised TechRadar Pro on the groundbreaking ceremony in Worcester that the facility was the primary it had ever constructed remotely.
