Morris Township admin: We’re not ignoring you–our email server is down

If Morris Township officers haven’t answered your emails recently, they’re not providing you with the chilly shoulder.

The municipality’s email system has crashed, Township Administrator Tim Quinn mentioned on Thursday.

Officials and staff have been unable to log into their email accounts since Monday morning, Quinn mentioned. QuikTeks of Fairfield is investigating the issue, he mentioned.

Service could also be restored in a while Thursday, the administrator mentioned. Messages are being off-loaded from the affected mail server onto a brief server, he mentioned.

Anyone with an pressing matter is requested to name Quinn at 973-326-7360. “Then I can get them no matter they want,” he mentioned.

The concern does not seem suspicious in nature, Quinn mentioned.

“It’s extra of a technical factor,” he mentioned.
