Capitol Records Names Ray Alba, Nathan Sheppard Senior Marketing VPs

Ray Alba and Nathan Sheppard have been named senior vice presidents of promoting for Capitol Records, the flagship label of Capitol Music Group, it was introduced immediately by CMG President Arjun Pulijal, to whom the pair stories.  In their new roles, Alba and Sheppard will co-lead the label’s advertising division, overseeing the design and execution of promoting campaigns for the complete roster of artists on the label.  Both executives are based mostly on the firm’s headquarters inside the Capitol Tower in Hollywood.

Alba (pictured above, left) involves Capitol from Epic Records, the place he was senior VP of publicity and labored extensively with Future and 21 Savage, amongst many others. Prior to becoming a member of Epic in 2018, he was VP of publicity and head of city publicity at Interscope Geffen A&M Records from 2015 by 2018.

Sheppard (above, proper) joins from YouTube Music, the place he was a senior label relations supervisor on the West Coast. He joined YouTube in 2015 and labored on such tasks as Paul McCartney’s “Live From Grand Central Station,” Katy Perry’s “Witness Worldwide” four-day reside stream, Olivia Rodrigo’s “Sour Prom” unique YouTube movie and Billie Eilish’s “Artist Spotlight Story.”
