SJVN bags many of Indian Concrete Institute 2021 Excellence Awards

SHIMLA: SJVN’s company workplace constructing at Shimla has been chosen for the ‘Best Built Infrastructure Project award 2021’ by the Indian Concrete Institute, Shimla Centre for its splendid and inexperienced sustainable design, knowledgeable VPS Jaswal, Chairman of the Centre right here in the present day.  The award for Guidance for this constructing building will likely be conferred upon Nand Lal Sharma, CMD of the corporate, Jaswal added. In the class of ‘Best serviceable infrastructure initiatives’, the 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station of SJVN in Himachal Pradesh has been chosen, Jaswal advised. The hydropower station, he advised, is exclusive as it’s being operated in tandem with upstream 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station of the corporate. SJVN’s Director-in-Charge Sushil Kumar Sharma, Director (Electrical), will likely be honored for this award, stated Jaswal.

Lifetime achievements award, he advised, could be given to D.Okay. Sharma, Chairman, Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission,  who can be a Member, National Security Advisory Board, Govt. of India; and Vice President of International Commission on Large Dams, Paris. D.Okay. Sharma had been chosen for the award for his excellent contribution in constructing hydro initiatives in India and neighboring international locations like Bhutan, Jaswal stated.  

In the class of ‘Outstanding Concrete Technologists, the award will likely be offered to S. P. Bansal, Director (Civil), of SJVN, stated VPS Jaswal. In the class of ‘Excellence in Technical Education’  Dr S P Guleria, Director cum Principal, Jawahar Lal Nehru Government Engineering College, Sundernagar has been chosen, he advised.

The Indian Concrete Institute, Shimla Centre, representing Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir had instituted these Awards in 2020 to honor the excellent initiatives and the individuals behind their success, Jaswal advised.
