JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Metrocenter Mall in Jackson in now owned by the State of Mississippi, in response to courtroom paperwork.
Emily Sanders used to personal the mall. The courtroom paperwork acknowledged that Sanders owed $99,000 in taxes.
Former distributors on the Metrocenter Mall mentioned Sanders failed to pay them for months.
“It looks like I’m by no means going to see that, and I’ve made peace with that,” mentioned Dr. William Grigsby, the previous Senior VPS for Metrocenter Mall.
Sanders might reclaim possession of the mall if she is ready to make the repayments she owes in a certain quantity of time.
