Norway accuses Chinese hackers of breaching parliament email accounts- The New Indian Express

OSLO: The Norwegian authorities on Monday, July 19, 2021, formally attributed a breach of email accounts related to the Norwegian parliament to Chinese hackers concerned within the exploitation of vulnerabilities in Microsoft’s Exchange Server.

The Norwegian parliament in March mentioned that email methods had been breached as half of the Microsoft Exchange Server incident.

“This was a really critical incident affecting our most essential democratic establishment,” Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ine Eriksen Soreide mentioned in a press release. “Following an in depth intelligence evaluation, it’s our view that the vulnerabilities have been exploited by actors working out of China.”
